Dr. Jessica White, PT, DPT
Philip White, OTR/L
Dr. Jessica White, PT, DPT received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Pacific University of Oregon with extensive continuing education in pelvic health, orthopedics and pediatrics since graduating in 2011. Jessica prides herself on giving personalized care to her patients and families. Jessica has been trained to perform internal pelvic floor examinations and treatment. Jessica has spent her last two years primarily in pediatrics and pelvic health for children and adults. Outside of working she spends time with her family hiking, skiing, and gardening. Jessica can not wait to work with you to reach your highest rehab potential.
Philip completed his education at Grand Valley State University in 2017 with a Masters of Science. Since graduation he has been working in outpatient pediatrics and inpatient adult rehabilitation. Phil has extensive knowledge in behavioral health, feeding therapy, sensory integration, injury prevention, and post surgical care. Phil enjoys gardening, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. Phil is excited to assist you in all of your rehabilitation needs.

Courtney Shaeffer, OTR/L, CBS

Dr. Alex Best, PT, DPT, COMT
Courtney completed her education at the University of North Dakota in 2011with a Masters of Occupational Therapy. She recently became a Breastfeeding Specialist in 2021. Courtney's Clinical experience is focused on facilitating successful mother and infant breastfeeding/bottle feeding dyad with specific training in infant and pediatric development, infant oral motor skills, torticollis prevention and treatment, and in the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol. Courtney has additional experience in pre and post habilitation for tethered oral tissue (tongue and lip tie) and advanced training and perinatal mental Health Counseling. Courtney is a mother of four and enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, knitting, and spending time with her family. Courtney is looking forward to facilitating successful breast/bottle feeding infant, transitioning infants to solid foods and helping your little one achieve their developmental milestones.

Dr. Alex Best, PT, DPT, COMT graduated from Angelo State University with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy. Alex and his wife Loryn moved to Alaska in 2012 looking for a change of scenery from West Texas and they have fallen in love with Alaska and all it has to offer. Alex completed his Orthopedic Manual Therapy certification through the International Academy of Orthopedic Medicine and has enjoyed working with a broad range of ages and diagnoses during his years working in outpatient and home health settings. Alex and Loryn’s two beautiful daughters were born in Alaska and their family enjoys hiking, skiing, skating, and exploring.


Dr. David Farmer, PT, DPT
Jasmine Titcomb, OTR/L
Dr. David Farmer, PT, DPT was born in Washington state where he gained an appreciation for the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest. He participated in many sports growing up, such as football, volleyball, and cross country. David attended Brigham Young University- Idaho where he earned a bachelor's degree in exercise physiology. He then went on to graduate with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from MGH Institute of Health Professions in Boston, Massachusetts. He has experience treating both pediatric and orthopedic injuries. David and his family moved to Alaska 3 years ago, and have fallen in love with both the area and the people. In his free time, David enjoys spending time in the outdoors. Backcountry skiing, hiking, and backpacking to name a few. He also enjoys spending time with his wife of 9 years, Macy, and their two kids- Max and Shay.

Jasmine received her Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mary in 2018. Since graduation Jasmine has found a passion working in outpatient pediatrics, various mental health settings as well as the utilization of horses as a therapeutic tool. She recognizes the importance of providing a space for others to be themselves, growing from our strengths and learning from our limitations. Jasmine enjoys the utilization of unique strategies to meet individualized goals. Outside of work you will most likely find Jasmine climbing a mountain, playing her ukulele, doing yoga or spending time with her family (which includes her fiancé Dean and their two dogs). She is looking forward to helping you and your family achieves their goals!

Jennifer Bryne, OTR/L
Jennifer Byrne is an Occupational Therapist and owner of 5by5 Performance Therapy LLC, a telehealth therapy service dedicated to improving the lives of Veterans and their families. She is also the co-founder of Shields and Stripes Inc., a 12-week intensive rehabilitation program to holistically rehabilitate Law Enforcement, First Responders and Veterans who experienced trauma. Jenn is an academic mentor for occupational therapy doctoral students at Boston University, is a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider, and a certified yoga instructor. She is the proud wife of an Air Force Special Operator and the mother to her two-year-old daughter Ellie. Jenn grew up with a younger brother with microcephaly, which encouraged her to pursue a career in occupational therapy. Her older brother is an Army pilot, who inspired her serve her country as an officer in the military. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with her bachelors in Occupational Therapy and received her commission into the United States Air Force in 2012 through the Reserve Officer Training Corps. She continued her education and completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy in December of 2013. She entered active duty as a First Lieutenant on January 15, 2014, where she built numerous health and wellness programs throughout her military career, embedding with elite units of joint operators and pilots. Additionally, she participated in the Language Enabled Airman Program and other language programs for her competence in Swahili. Jenn has traveled to East Africa numerous times, and is passionate about bringing positive change to children with disabilities in developing countries. A passionate learner, she earned her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy in May, 2021, and joined Boston University as a faculty member in July, 2021. In her free time, Jenn loves exploring Alaskan hiking trails, running, skiing, and spending time outdoors with her family.

Hattie Welch, OTR/L
Hattie graduated from the University of New England in 2018 with a Masters of Science in OT. Since graduation she has worked as a travel OT in the home health setting, hospital, and at skilled nursing facilities. She enjoys time as a new mother, outdoors on the disc golf course, in the garden, and at the pool. She is looking forward to helping you and your family achieve their goals!

Rachel White, OTR/L, NBHWC
Rachel completed her education at the University of Limerick in Ireland in 2019 with a Masters of Science in OT. She values overall health and wellness and embraced that passion by becoming a certified health and wellness coach in 2021. Rachel has experience in aquatic therapy, hippotherapy, sensory integration, and is trained in the Beckman Oral Motor Protocol. She is a big kid at heart and enjoys being able to utilize play as a therapeutic medium to connect and help serve her clients. She also enjoys working with children who have limited food preferences to explore the wonderful world of food. Outside of work you will often find Rachel outdoors appreciating the natural beauty that exists around us. She is a passionate and avid traveler who loves exploring and learning about new places and cultures. She enjoys hiking, running, gardening, yoga, loving on her dog (Benjamin), and attempting her hand at pottery. She is looking forward to helping you and your family achieve their goals!

Dr. Katie Elliott, PT, DPT
Dr. Katie Elliott, PT, DPT completed her education at Saint Ambrose University in 2010, graduating with a Doctorate of Physical therapy. Katie has worked in a variety of treatment settings in her career and considers herself a well wounded therapist. Katie has spent her last few years working in outpatient orthopedics and inpatient acute care at a local hospital. Since having children of her own, her interest in pelvic health has grown and is a topic that she feels passionate about. She is trained in internal pelvic floor examination and treatment and is excited to offer this much needed service to our community. When not at work Katie enjoys spending time with her family and friends and adventuring in the outdoors.

Lixue Mason, OTR/L
Dr. Lixue (Lucy) Mason, OTD, OTR/L, LSVT-BIG Certified, LEND Fellows earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology from Western Washington University, followed by completing her education at Creighton University with a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy. Following graduation Lucy primarily works in, inpatient acute care however also enjoys working in pediatrics! Lucy aspires to work with burn survivors in the future. In her free time, Lucy enjoys traveling, working out, and spending quality time with family and friends
