At Therapeutic Health & Home, we provide specialized pelvic health therapy for men, women, and children. We look beyond just musclesconsidering how the nervous system, habits, and life experiences interact to affect your health. Our goal is to provide a safe, welcoming, and trauma-informed environment where you can regain your quality of life.
Our Specialties:



Women’s Pelvic Health
Support across the lifespan - from pregnancy and postpartum to menopause. We address bladder, bowel, and sexual health with a holistic approach that considers hormonal changes and daily life.

What We Treat: Leaking, urgency, pelvic/tailbone pain, pain with intimacy, prolapse, endometriosis/PCOS pain, and post-surgical recovery (e.g., hysterectomy).

Pregnancy & Postpartum: Birth preparation, core/pelvic floor recovery, and scar healing.

Menopause: Support for pelvic pressure, dryness, and bladder/bowel changes.
Men’s Pelvic Health
Restoring function and confidence in a safe environment. We address numbness, pain, and dysfunction through evidence-based rehabilitation, emphasizing risk reduction and post-surgical recovery.

Urinary & Bowel Dysfunction: Leaking, urgency, dribbling, constipation, or trouble starting/stopping flow.

Prostatectomy Recovery: specialized care for incontinence and sexual dysfunction following prostate surgery.

Pelvic Pain: Solutions for chronic pelvic pain, post-micturition dribble, and muscle weakness.
Pediatric Pelvic Health
Gentle, child-centered care for confidence and comfort. We support children using play, movement, and nervous system regulation to build body awareness and healthy habits. Note: Internal exams are never performed in pediatric therapy.

Common Concerns: Day/night accidents, bedwetting, constipation (stool withholding), and fear of toileting.

Pain & Tension: Abdominal pain, bloating, and tension related to anxiety or regulation issues.

Approach: We collaborate with families to rebuild trust and positive routines, screening for retained reflexes and sensory processing needs.
What to Expect
Evaluations are private, collaborative, and tailored to your comfort level.

Assessment: We review medical history and assess posture, breathing, and coordination.

Exams: For adults, internal assessments are performed only if appropriate and always with consent.

Treatment: A personalized mix of hands-on manual therapy, movement strategies, nervous system regulation, and education on daily habits.

Getting Started
How to Receive Services:
A referral is required from a physician, nurse practitioner, midwife, or medical provider. Once we receive your referral, our team will contact you to review costs and answer questions before scheduling.
Locations:
We are a fully mobile clinic that comes to you with two clinic locations in Eagle River & Wasilla, Alaska for those who are visiting out of town, need a place outside their home, or are located outside our service areas. Telehealth services are also available.
