Mariah Spear
OTR/L
Southcentral Social Media Specialist & Therapy Assistant Lead
Mariah earned a Masters in occupational therapy from Utica University in 2015. Her undergraduate degrees are in early childhood education and health studies. In 2014, Mariah traveled to the Dominican Republic with a group of graduate students to treat children and adults in a variety of settings including rehabilitation centers, schools, and orphanages. This trip ignited her passion for occupational therapy and the impact it has across multiple settings. Mariah later returned to the Dominican Republic as an adjunct professor for a semester in 2018.
Mariah has experience in mental health, pediatrics, acute care focusing on trauma, orthopedics, and neurology, and also has managerial experience as the director of occupational therapy for a pediatric clinic in New York. She moved to Alaska in 2019 where she has focused on pediatrics, specifically enjoying sensory integration. Mariah seeks to develop meaningful connections with her clients and their families and is passionate about client and caregiver education in order to maximize success.
Outside of work, Mariah enjoys her macrame business and spending time with her husband, son, and dogs exploring the great state of Alaska.
Dr. Lixue "Lucy" Vanucci
OTD, OTR/L
Lixue Mason earned a Bachelors of Science degree in Kinesiology from Western Washington University, followed by completing her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy at Creighton University. Lucy primarily works in inpatient acute care; however, also enjoys working in pediatrics! Lucy aspires to work with burn survivors in the future.
In her free time, Lucy enjoys traveling, working out, and spending quality time with family and friends.
Jasmine Titcomb
OTR/L
Grant Specialist
Jasmine received her Masters in Occupational Therapy from the University of Mary in 2018. Since graduation Jasmine has found a passion working in outpatient pediatrics, various mental health settings as well as the utilization of outdoor recreation as a therapeutic tool. She recognizes the importance of providing a space for others to be themselves, growing from our strengths and learning from our limitations. Jasmine enjoys the utilization of unique strategies like skiing, rock climbing and horse based therapy to meet individualized goals.
Outside of work you will most likely find Jasmine exploring the mountains, playing her ukulele, doing yoga or spending time with her family. She is looking forward to helping you and your family achieve their goals.
Philip White
OTR/L
Founder
Philip believes that Occupational Therapy is more than just a clinical service; it is a pathway to a self-determined life. As the Owner and CFO of Therapeutic Health and Home, Philip brings a unique dual perspective to the field, combining a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Grand Valley State University (2017) with a foundational double major in Business and Supply Chain Management from Portland State University.
Since 2017, Philip has specialized in pediatrics and behavioral health, with a deep commitment to preparing neurodivergent individuals for independent and enriching lives. His approach centers on the building blocks of independence: developing healthy routines through exercise, nutrition, and socialization, alongside the cultivation of hobbies and essential work skills. By focusing on the whole person, Philip helps clients bridge the gap between therapy and real-world success.
A believer in the power of people, Philip’s leadership philosophy is simple: surround yourself with exceptional talent and empower them to reach their fullest potential. When he isn’t leading his team or supporting families, Philip is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys gardening, fishing, hunting, and snow sports with his family.
Dr. Katie Abou Eid
OTD, OTR/L, GCS
Katie is born and raised in Alaska, she earned her bachelor’s degree in public health at New Mexico State University. Upon graduation she worked to promote and advocate for diabetes education and awareness, where she realized her passion for direct patient care. She went on to become a certified nursing assistant and received her doctorate degree of occupational therapy from Creighton University. Katie has experience working in a wide variety of settings from inpatient rehab, acute care, skilled nursing, long term care, mental health, and outpatient with all ages ranging from pediatrics to older adults. She is passionate about helping patients achieve their goals and participate in daily activities to their best abilities. She strives to provide the best education, strategies, and techniques, to improve function and quality of life for each unique individual and family.
Tristan Klinger
OTR/L
Community Liaison
Tristan was born in Washington, where he acquired his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology at Washington State University. During his undergrad, he recognized his interest in therapy services and pursued his Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at Cox College in Missouri. Tristan has experience working with neonatal, pediatric, and older adult populations in acute care and outpatient settings. He bases his treatment philosophies on a collaborative approach between the client and their families to ensure the most successful outcomes. Tristan and his fiancé were accompanied to Alaska with their two dogs in 2023.
Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the mountains with his fiancé and dogs, listening to music, and drinking strong coffee.
Camille Curry
OT
Camille grew up on Puget Sound and took a second- degree in occupational therapy at the University of Puget sound, after teaching high school biology. She later got her masters in early childhood special education from the University of Oregon. She became a registered occupational therapist in 1970 and has worked in all four western states as well as Ohio. She has worked in a number of settings, including general medicine and surgery, coronary care, psychiatry, and pediatrics in schools and early intervention programs. The last 30 years, she has focused on pediatrics in schools and early intervention programs in Washington and Oregon.
She previously lived in Juneau, Alaska for four years during the 1990s. Her move to Anchorage is inspired by her son and family who moved here two years ago. She enjoys hand spinning yarn, knitting, weaving, gardening, and boating with her kayak, as well as, fishing on bigger boats.
Dr. Abigail Mancill
OTD, OTR/L, Co-OT
Lead Clinical Supervisor
Abigail received her doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University in 2014. Since graduating, she has worked in multiple populations including pediatrics, short term rehab, long term care, skilled nursing, acute/inpatient care, and home health. Abigail grew up as a missionary kid in Glennallen, Alaska. She met her husband in Fairbanks while working in the local hospital. They moved to Eagle River in 2019 and now have two girls and a boy. Abigail is passionate about providing holistic care and creating individualized, family-centered goals. Abigail has also completed significant research in pediatric aquatic therapy and training in building interoceptive awareness.
Outside of work, Abigail loves spending time with her husband and kids, hiking, sewing, journaling, and sharing a bowl of popcorn for a family movie night.
Alexis "Lexi" Bauer
COTA
Lexi is a licensed Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) originally from Minnesota and a proud graduate of Moberly Area Community College in Missouri, where she earned her AAS degree in 2024. Since beginning her career, she has had the opportunity to travel and work in a variety of settings with diverse patient populations, experiences that have greatly enriched her clinical practice.
Her passion has always been working with children and helping them reach their fullest potential through individualized, meaningful therapy. Lexi believes in tailoring each session to the unique needs of every child, with a focus on building independence, confidence, and skills that carry over beyond the therapy setting.
Outside of work, Lexi enjoys spending time outdoors and exploring the landscapes of Alaska. When she is not out adventuring, she can often be found relaxing with her two travel companions, her cats Milo and Chowder, who have joined her throughout her journeys.
Tyler Williams
OTR/L
Tyler grew up in Mobile, Alabama, where he spent nine summers volunteering as a counselor at Camp S.M.I.L.E. This experience led him to pursue an undergraduate degree in exercise science from Freed-Hardeman University and then receive his master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. Tyler has worked as a pediatric occupational therapist since he and his wife moved to Alaska in 2020. Tyler specializes in working with children to develop social-emotional learning, behavioral regulation, and sensory integration.
Outside of work, Tyler enjoys hunting, hiking, camping, kayaking, and spending time with his church friends and his wife and children.
Anna Mattox
OTR/L
Anna brings expertise and compassionate care to her work with infants and young children. She is committed to helping children reach important developmental milestones, build functional skills, and improve their overall quality of life. She is also certified as an Infant Mental Health Family Specialist and in Infant Massage, further strengthening her ability to support young children and their families.

Anna earned both her undergraduate and master’s degrees in Occupational Therapy from Eastern Kentucky University. Throughout her career, she has specialized in working with children from birth to age three.

One of the most rewarding aspects of Anna’s work is building meaningful connections with children and their families. She strives to create therapy goals that fit naturally into each child’s daily routines, helping them develop skills that support greater independence, confidence, and enjoyment in everyday life.
Alexa Hanley
OTR/L, Co-OT
Lead Caseload Mgmt & Scheduling
Alexa was born and raised in Anchorage, AK. She graduated from University of Alberta in Canada in 2017 with her Masters in Occupational Therapy. After graduating, Alexa used her OT skills and fluency in Spanish to volunteer in Nicaragua at a school for children with disabilities. She has worked in the hospital setting, skilled nursing facility and school setting.
She enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and being outdoors. She is looking forward to getting to know your families and helping her patients reach their highest potential.
Vanessa "V" Van Cleve
OTR/L
Originally from Duluth, Minnesota, V made the move to Alaska after earning her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the College of St. Scholastica in 2025. She began her career in Juneau as a travel contractor and pediatric occupational therapist with the Juneau School District, where she has worked with children ages 4–18 across a wide range of abilities and needs, helping them access their education and fully participate in school life. V's clinical experience includes outpatient hand therapy, outpatient pediatric services, and school-based pediatric occupational therapy.
Outside of work, V loves staying active and exploring the outdoors. Whether she's trail running with friends, biking, rock climbing, gardening, or hiking with her two dogs, she enjoys embracing new adventures. She is dedicated to supporting others in accessing the activities that matter most and that they love!
Brittany Sholts
OTR/L
Brittany grew up in Central Michigan and earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Eastern
Michigan University in 2021. She spent three years working as a travel occupational therapist across a variety of settings, including schools, subacute care, skilled nursing, and pediatric outpatient clinics. Through this work, she gained extensive experience supporting children ages 1-10, with a strong emphasis on strengthening family systems to support child development. Brittany is passionate about holistic, nature-informed approaches to care and believes deeply in family-centered support.
She values intentional, relationship-based work that honors the nervous system, daily routines, and the environments in which families live and grow.
Outside of work, Brittany enjoys spending time in nature year-round with her significant other and friends, engaging in activities such as hiking, trail running, ice skating, and cross-country skiing - often accompanied by her rescued dog.
Dr. Ryan Salmon
OTD
Ryan is an Occupational Therapist with a diverse background in healthcare, education, construction, and community-based care. Before becoming an OT, he worked as a carpenter and woodworker, giving him a unique perspective on how environments can support safety, independence, and everyday function.
He has provided occupational therapy services in hospitals, home health, schools, and community programs throughout Southeast Alaska, working with children, families, adults, and older adults. Ryan has a special interest in home safety, accessibility, and helping individuals thrive through practical, personalized solutions.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife of more than 20 years, their two teenagers, and their pets. He loves hunting, fishing, skiing, playing hockey, and exploring the outdoors that make Alaska home.
Anna Sluz
OTD, OTR/L
Anna received her doctorate with honors in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University in 2012. She has worked in a variety of settings, including early intervention (ILP), outpatient pediatrics, sub-acute short term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and Alaska Native health. She loves getting to know her clients, what is important to them, and helping them meet their goals.
In her free time, Anna enjoys all that the Alaskan outdoors has to offer year-round, especially being in the forest, on open water, foraging for berries and mushrooms, hiking with friends in the mountains, and cross-country skiing on local trails.
Beth Potter
COTA
Beth was born and raised in Palmer, Alaska before living in Hawaii, and Kansas, where she earned her degree. She is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant with over a decade of experience in a wide variety of settings. Her work in pediatrics has included Beckman Oral Motor Protocol and Trauma Informed Care. At a specialized Traumatic Brain Injury clinic, she treated military service members suffering from vestibular dysfunction, cognitive impairment, and other deficiencies.
Her diverse expertise has allowed her to develop a unique understanding of the complexities of human function and the importance of adapting therapy to meet the individual needs of each client. As a Certified Functional Vision Rehabilitation Specialist, Beth combines her vision expertise with functional activities for proven outcomes.
Outside of work, you can usually find her with her family! Kayaking, listening to live music, dancing, and playing video games are just some of her passions.
